The three ways we earn
1. Our free quote service
When you ask for stairlift or home lift quotes through one of our forms, we pass your request to up to three UK installers. These are the only quote forms on the site today. If you go on to request quotes, those providers may pay us an introduction or referral fee. You never pay anything for this, and you're under no obligation to accept any quote.
2. Affiliate links
Some of our articles link to products or retailers (such as Amazon). If you buy after clicking one of these links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We tag these links so they're clearly commercial.
3. Labelled sponsored features
Some of our buying guides may carry one sponsored feature: an advertisement that a brand pays for by the month. It is marked Advertisement, names the brand that paid for it, sits below our picks and method, and its links are tagged as sponsored. It is not one of our picks. Brands can read how this works on Advertise with Look Into and in our advertiser terms.
What this does, and doesn't, change
- We don't let companies pay for a better review, ranking or recommendation.
- Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial partnerships, see our Editorial Policy.
- We only recommend products and providers we believe are genuinely worth considering. A sponsored feature is an advertisement, not a recommendation, and paying for one never buys a place in our picks, a better score or a kinder verdict.
- Pages that recommend no product, such as our claims audits, cost indexes and methodology, carry no commercial links and no sponsored features at all.
Your data
