That is below the lowest Amazon price the tracker camelcamelcamel has on record for it. Several better-known machines on the same list carried “RRP” discounts of 9% to 27% against prices that PriceSpy, which tracks prices across UK shops, had not seen anywhere in the previous three months.

The cheapest bean-to-cup machines, lowest price first
Three-year cost adds the machine price to 730 cups a year of budget beans at 16.1p a cup, electricity for heating the water included. Beans cost the same whichever machine grinds them, so the gap between machines is the purchase price.

Which “RRP” discounts hold up
Of the 36 machines with a built-in grinder in the top 50, 31 had a price on the day. 15 of those 31 showed a crossed-out comparison price: 11 labelled RRP and 4 labelled Was. The middle claimed saving was 19%.
The two labels mean different things. Amazon’s help page says a Was price is the median price customers paid on Amazon.co.uk over the last 90 days. An RRP is the maker’s recommended price, and Amazon shows it only if Amazon or at least one other retailer charged that price or more. The page does not say how recently.
We checked the six best-known RRP machines against PriceSpy’s three-month price range, which covers every shop and colour PriceSpy tracks for each model.

In five of the six, the RRP was higher than any price PriceSpy recorded in the previous three months. For three of them, camelcamelcamel’s record of Amazon’s own prices shows the most Amazon has charged, and when. The Sage Barista Express peaked at £628.95 on 19 August 2023. The De’Longhi Rivelia reached £749 on 13 March 2024. The Philips 3300 hit £599.99 on 17 February 2024.
The Siemens EQ500 is the exception. Its £629 RRP did appear in the last three months, and its £349 price on 18 September was the lowest PriceSpy had seen in that time. The Bosch VeroCafe carried a Was price of £299.99, and its £249 was below the lowest Amazon price camelcamelcamel has on record, £279 on 24 November 2025.
Four of the lesser-known brands in the top 50, AMZCHEF, AIRMSEN, Aptliton and Alivio, sold machines with a grinder for £164.99 to £209.99. Two of those listings showed RRPs, of £229.99 and £309.99. We could not find price histories for any of them.
Who sells the machine matters
Of the 31 machines with a price, Amazon itself sold 14. The other 17 were sold by third-party sellers, including the best-selling De’Longhi Magnifica S. Returns and warranty claims can run through the seller, so check the “Sold by” line before you buy, and register the machine with the maker either way.
Should you wait for Prime Big Deal Days?
Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days runs on 6 and 7 October 2026. The Philips 3300 is the clearest case for waiting: PriceSpy saw it at £316 in the last three months, £98.99 under its 18 September price.
